Well established showjumper breeding and development operation seeking an experienced daily/ show groom. Twelve horses, including stallions.
Full time, with one set dayy off each week. Duties include feeding, mucking, tacking/untacking, clipping, wrapping, traveling to shows (expenses paid), assisting with vet and farrier, etc. Potential to ride for the right person. Experience with stallions is a plus. Spring/ summer in Charlottesville, VA, winters in Wellington, FL. Excellent opportunities for advancement.
Candidate must possess a "can do" work ethic, be willing to ask questions, and truly have the horse's well being at the forefront. Ability to think critically, and be a team player are a must. Mudst be legal to work in the US.
