About The Facility
Full service, 18 acre equestrian center in North Florida offering lessons, boarding, leasing, and breeding. Both Hunter Jumper and Western/ Ranch disciplines offered. Property consists of a 24 stall barn, 2 arenas, and paddocks. Approximately 50 horses are housed on the property.
Job Description
Assist trainers in preparing and exercising horses, and tacking horses for lessons, as needed. Responsible for daily basic horse care including hoof maintenance, lunging, clipping, and show-prep. Duties include barn laundry, tack and grooming supply organizing/cleaning, and other miscellaneous horse and duties as necessary.
Job Requirements
Knowledge of basic horse health care and maintenance. Ability to handle horses. Experience with clipping preferred. Ability to lift 20-30lbs on regular basis. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Willingness to travel to horse show events preferred.
