Blue Moon Farm is a private barn located out of the city where it is peaceful and quiet. We are a "no drama" facility and believe in team work and prefer people with positive attitudes, open minds and a willingness to learn.
You will help with the care of 8 - 10 horses, which includes turnout, mucking stalls, maintaining supplies, overall cleanliness, upkeep of barn and some groundskeeping. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Job also includes help with caretaking of property, house and barn when owners are out of town. This will include taking care of family pets plus making sure that house appears to be occupied. Job is a 4 day work week. Ability to drive tractor a plus but not required. References required.
Last but not least, you must be mature, honest, dependable and able to take direction and possibly learn to do things differently than you may be used to. We practice Parelli and Natural Horsemanship. No attitudes or drama. This is a private barn (no boarders) with a stress free environment and a great opportunity for someone looking for a long term commitment. High school diploma and drivers license. No smoking.
Free 2 bedroom apartment including all utilities on property with washer and dryer.
Beautiful 2 bedroom apartment on premises is included with all utilities paid. Unfortunately NO DOGS will be allowed since there are already dogs on the property.
