About The Facility
This semi-private, beautiful facility just outside of the Minneapolis, MN area is home to a small handful of competition horses and a few retirees. With a total of 13 horses on site accompanied by 2 mini donkeys and a "rather exceptional" mule, this facility is a peaceful and well-staffed place to call home. There are currently only two boarders, making the client interaction a very small portion of this position. This farm is situated on 80 acres and boasts an oversized indoor and outdoor arena, private, spacious grass turnouts with shelters in each field, dry lots for winter turnout, a fully enclosed center aisle barn, and ample space for hacking and enjoying the scenery.
Job Description
Looking for a couple of experienced and reliable individuals to assist in the daily care and operations of this upscale Dressage facility! These individuals will be responsible for the basic maintenance tasks around the farm. In barn tasks will be limited in the horse handling, primarily consisting of stall cleaning, feeding, watering, and cleaning of the barn, but applicants should feel comfortable in their basic horse handling. Facility maintenance tasks will include picking fields, mowing, weed eating, spraying for weeds, operating the manure spreader, and basic repair projects around the farm as needed. The ideal candidate should have experience operating tractors, mowers, weed eaters, and other manor of small farm machinery. As a shared/alternating responsibility, night check responsibilities will also be performed at 7pm.

This is a 6 day per week position, with housing available on-site. Hours are 7: 15am to 4: 30pm with an hour break for lunch.
Job Requirements
- Stall cleaning
- Watering and Feeding horses

- Mowing (zero turn, bushhog, etc)
- Weed eating
- Operating the manure spreader
- Dragging fields and arena
- Fence repairs
- Assisting in occasional improvement projects
- Night check responsibility every other night at 7pm
