Job Description
As the Equestrian Marketing Director, the main duty will be to oversee the creation and promotion of this venue’s one-of-a-kind experience. This person will be responsible for original content creation and promotion of the equestrian events, homesites, and golf course. This person will be tasked with creating a consistent aesthetic for the brand, and promoting it nationwide. This person must possess exemplary graphic design skills, and should be fluent in all marketing software necessary to be successful in their position. The ideal candidate should have a firm knowledge of producing content for publication in print sources, web sources, and social media. This person should be able to strategize on how and where to allocate advertising funds in order to see the greatest ROI. Ideally, this candidate will also have an understanding of complex website design, and how to work SEO algorithms for optimal reach in web based services.

This person will be expected to evaluate the efficiency of all marketing campaigns, and be able to generate reports and plans for improvement. You will also be tasked with planning our marketing budget, performing competitor research, and interacting with our clients and patrons on-site at all major events.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in corporate marketing and excellent leadership skills, but be willing to be flexible and collaborative to the vision of the facility’s owners.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities
• Original content creation for all outlets (social media, print, web, etc)
• Management of social media platforms
• On-site interaction with patrons and competitors
• Create and maintain a specific aesthetic & brand for the facility
• Market research to determine best placement of print and web based advertisement
• Stay current on marketing tools and tech needed to be successful
• Oversee the creation and implementation of various marketing strategies and manage their execution
• Analyze the success of our marketing efforts and generate reports to track success
• Coordinate and prioritize tasks- MUST be a self-starter, and self-regulator
• Plan and allocate the facility’s marketing and advertising budget
• Market and Competitor research to ensure relevance
• Management and updating of website (roughly 3 hours per week)

Requirements
• 5 years of experience in corporate marketing or a related role
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
• Professional Certified Marketer (PCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar certification preferred
• Considerable working knowledge of the Equine Industry is required
