Description: Eagles Nest Farm is a small private dressage barn in upstate New York. The property has an 8-stall barn, 70 x 145 indoor arena with waterless fiber footing, full size dressage outdoor, 11 paddocks, 4 large pastures, and landscaped barn and home areas. The barn has a Theraplate and Beemer blanket. The owner typically has between 5-6 personal horses. The horses range from young horses to upper-level dressage horses.
Job description:
General barn chores: Cleaning stalls, picking stalls, dragging and raking arenas, checking fencing, getting grain, moving hay
Horse handling: bringing horses in/out, grooming and tacking up, hand-walking, Theraplate & Beemer therapies, holding for farrier
Landscaping/property maintenance: weed whacking, weeding, mowing fields
***Riding may be available to the right person with experience riding large young big moving warmbloods***
