All encompassing show jumping facility from breeding up through Grand Prix competition horses
Professional Virginia breeding and show jumping operation in search of an equine care specialist. Experience in grooming, handling mares & foals, stallions and show horses ideal, but not required. Great position to develop in multiple aspects of the horse industry. Willing to teach the right candidate. This position does not include riding or managerial duties.
Daily duties to include:
Feeding, Turnout, Mucking Stalls, Keeping the facilities presentable, Medicating horses as needed, Vet and other vendor appointments, Shared nightcheck duties
Seasonal duties to include:
Breeding, Foaling, Collecting of stallions, Shipping and Freezing of semen, Halter-breaking
Must be:
Flexible, reliable, a team player, have good communications skills, a positive attitude, be detail oriented.
