With a strong presence already in Europe, multiple awards to their name, and endorsement by many of our Equestrian governing bodies looming, this company is ready to officially begin their search for quality representatives in the US markets.
This innovative new company is seeking a passionate, energetic individual to lead their Sporthorse Market sales effort in the Washington DC area! Proximity to the greatest number of equestrian shows venues, and connections within the sporthorse industry will be instrumental in this candidate's success. Passion for equine care, ability to converse with Equestrian professionals of all disciplines and levels, and a self starting attitude are key to your success in this position! Prior outside sales experience is a must in this position, as this is going to be a fast-paced sales role, and the ability to handle booking/prospecting/handling face-to-face sales is essential.
• Develop, create and implement sales strategies and action plans.
• Plan and visit farms, veterinarian clinics, show centres, trainers as per call plans.
• Detail, educate and inspire our customers with engaging presentations.
• Ensure all metrics are reported and in line with the company KPI’s.
• Measure and report on field activities, calls and sales outcomes.
• Ensure CRM is updated weekly and progress has been demonstrated.
• Feedback to management, marketing and product development product feedback.
• Represent the company and build the brand profile within the territory.
• Identify areas of upside and growth that are untapped.
• Create strong business cases for new markets, territories and campaigns.
• Ensure target customers have clear and measurable metrics and reported on.
• Ensure all sales targets are exceeded.
• Knowledge and experience within the equine industry is essential.
Essential Experience
• Sales experience in fast paced and quick sales cycles.
• Degree or equivalent
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships
• CRM; previous experience with HubSpot is preferred. .
• Dynamic ability to use technology & adopt new ways of working and programs
• Strong IT skills.
• Excellent reading and writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and the ability to prioritise.
Desired Experience
• Successful experience working in or a similar equine role.
• Previous experience with a new product or technology sale.
10% commission on all sales made and billed - *uncapped*

This is considered an Outside Sales position - and all work is done from home office, on-site presence, or remotely. Must be currently located in the designated target area, with established connections and proximity and ability to frequent the major local show venues. This position is looking to fill in April 2023!
