We are a horse show facility in Jacksonville, Florida.
We have an Indoor Arena, Covered Arena, outdoor rings and 400 stalls. We do other events, but primarily horse shows.
Operations is responsible for providing support for the various events using the Equestrian Center and overall maintenance of the ground and facilities. Job duties include, but are not limited to, event setup and teardown, groundskeeping, general maintenance, light construction and overall cleanliness of arenas and barns.
Walking, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs and requires a high degree of mobility and stamina. The position involves working outside during inclement weather and is occasionally subject to adverse noise conditions. Familiarity with animals (horse, cattle, dogs, etc) and ability to operate light agricultural equipment is a plus. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and evenings.
