Job Description
Established and Professional Barn in Upperville, VA is seeking a Full Time, Experienced Groom. Responsible for all aspects of horse care including but not limited to: feeding, grooming, care of minor injuries, leg wrapping and administering medications when necessary as well as care and cleaning of facilities and equipment. 5 day40hr work week-work, the week must include weekends, 2 consecutive week days will be coordinated for the time off. The position offers competitive pay, excellent benefit package, paid vacation and holidays. Applicants must be dependable and reliable, be a team player, have a clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check. Experience with young foals and stallions is a must, ability to drive a trailer is not required but preferred. Job Requirements
Reliable and dedicated. Experience with young horses and stallions. Ability to wrap legs, identify, communicate with team and treat minor wounds. Ability to give medications when necessary. Attention to detail. Ability to work a 40 hour work week consistently. Must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, the ability to pass a background check.
