About The Facility
Elite H/J showing and sales operation based in Virginia and Wellington, FL is looking for a new team member! This is a very team oriented environment, and everyone will be expected to work together for all responsibilities. This farm generally has about 15 horses, the vast majority of which are imported and over the age of 5yo. There are 4 people splitting the workload on these horses - avoiding burnout is a priority! There are endless growth opportunities for the right individual.
Job Description
They are seeking someone who is experienced on the A circuits of the H/J industry, with a strong foundation in the Hunter ring specifically. This person must enjoy consistent travel to shows. They generally are showing 1-2 weeks out of each month. Their main need is for an A show groom, who can braid, clip, and provide top notch care to the horses. For the right person there will be ample riding, training, and even showing opportunities! Ideally this person will be comfortable riding at least 2-3 horses per day at home, in addition to the farm chores. There is significantly more saddle time at shows for interested applicants. While riding is preferred, there is also opportunity for someone who prefers to stay on the ground. Someone with some knowledge and experience teaching low level lessons would be strongly favored!
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position will be detail oriented and a self starter who is ready to hit the ground running. The owner of this facility above all else wants to be able to trust that the job is being done and the horses are being cared for to the best of her team's abilities.

Work hours try to be very reasonable when not showing, with mornings starting at 7am and wrapping up around 4:30pm. There are occasional night check responsibilities. This is a 6 day per week position.
Description of Housing Provided
Housing is provided! It is a pet friendly, private 2bed 2 bath home in Virginia about 5min from the farm, and a shared but spacious arrangement in Florida. Pay is dependent on experience, but ranging between 700-900 per week. Ideally, this person will not have their own horse, as their FL barn is completely full.
