Privately-owned facility with a small number of quiet, easy trail riding horses.
Riding/training the trail horses on a regular basis, riding with the owner when requested, stall cleaning, turnout/in, washing, brushing, tacking up, tack cleaning, barn cleaning (de-cobwebbing, etc), scheduling farrier, veterinarian, feed and hay deliveries, and overall management of the horses and barn.
- Significant riding experience.
- Experience in a barn with private owners.
- Experience in dealing with day-to-day activities/issues with horses, such as small cuts, recognizing signs of colic, etc.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Previous Barn Managing experience is preferred.
6-day workweek with hourly pay (overtime for anything past 40 hours/week)
