This picturesque, world-class, equestrian complex on the cusp of Long Island's East End is built to satisfy both amateur jumpers and Grand Prix athletes.
Job Description
North Fork Equestrian is seeking a talented riding instructor to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis.

Daily tasks include:

- Teach students who want to ride leisurely or competitively.
- Help prepare for competitions like show jumping, eventing.
- Make sure health and safety rules are followed.
- Help horses and riders to warm up and cool down during training.
- Develop training programs tailored to individual riders.
- Give practical, hands-on demonstrations.
- Help riders correct problems.
- Give feedback and keep records of rider development.
- Assess riders who are working towards qualifications.
Job Requirements
You'll need:

- Knowledge of teaching and the ability to design courses.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- The ability to work semi-independently.
- Strong leadership skills.
- To be thorough and pay attention to detail.
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- To be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device

Experience with kids and beginners a plus.
