About The Facility
The main ranch in San Gregorio, CA, PRN is engaged in the following activities:

• Maintains 2,700-acre property for business operations and personal enjoyment
• Breeds and raises cattle for sale as pasture-raised beef as well as breeds and raises hogs for pork sales (www.pompoinioranchmeat.com).
• Breeds horses and raises horses (www.pomponioranchstallions.com) to become competition show jumpers and/or for sale.
• Breeds and raises alpaca and sheep for the sale of the fiber (www.valhallayarns.com).
Job Description
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Manage and schedule all repairs and maintenance for heavy, stationary, and small equipment including but not limited to:
o Tractors
o Hay equipment
o ATV’s
o Side by Sides
o Landscaping equipment
o Tools
• Monitor, maintain, and repair all water systems:
o Domestic system such as: replacing filters, chlorination, etc.
o Irrigation and reclaimed water systems
• Maintain and operate applicable software for all maintenance needs:
o Order, maintain, and bill out inventory of parts
o Oversee maintenance records and scheduling of services
o Operate & oversee levels in tanks for water systems
• Repair and maintain all structures, electric horse feeders, and fencing including:
o Appliances – washers, dryer, furnaces, etc.
o Lighting fixtures
o Plumbing issues
• General Ranch, pool, and HVAC maintenance and upkeep as needed
• Work with outside contractors/vendors for scheduling needed repairs
• Order and assist in the management of shop supplies
• Assist with livestock as needed
• Assist with farming duties as needed
Job Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements:
• At least 3-5 years of experience and knowledge of facilities repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance with mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Knowledge of electrical components, control panels & valves, pumps, floats, and standby generators.
• Knowledge of safe work practices around horses and other livestock
• Must have proof of authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older and drug-free
• Clear background check
• Strong communication skills
• Work effectively with minimal supervision, self-motivated and self-starter
• Physical requirements
o Ability to work outdoors, on uneven, slippery terrain in varying weather conditions with dust and allergens
o Ability to twist, bend, kneel, climb, lift 100 lbs., and use hand tools as necessary
• Safely operate ATV, tractors, and trailers
• Strong commitment to teamwork
• Ability to adhere to the organization's policies, procedures and regulations
• Ability to adapt to changes throughout the day
