About The Facility
Veteran Owned, recently purchased H/J facility in the suburbs of Tampa, FL. 10 acre, 20+ stall facility. Operation will be a joint Hippotherapy and sporthorse facility initially, with the goal to eventually be a fully operational nonprofit Equine Therapy program. Located very close to a children's hospital, and VA trauma center, this facility is poised to succeed.
Job Description
This facility is in the very beginnings of operations. The ideal candidate will share the owner's vision and passion for helping disabled veterans and children achieve their goals and a new quality of life. This person will have experience in management, a strong drive to treat this farm as if it were their own, and an independent workstyle. The farm being acquired for this operation is a fully operational H/J boarding and training facility. Someone with experience teaching, training, and running their own facility would be a huge plus. Owner is looking for a skilled and experienced Hippotherapist to begin work on creating a therapeutic program for both veterans and children. This person will be able to create and run their own therapeutic program, as well as advise the owner on the best methods and practices to achieve his longterm goals of being a PATH and EGALA sanctioned nonprofit therapy center. Horses can be provided from nearby partner organization, or be brought in by instructor.
