Highly successful international reproduction system supplier is seeking a new US-Based Equine sales associate.
This company boasts an expansive range of products and services for artificial insemination, embryo transfer and associated biotechniques. They are regularly innovating, developing, and launching new products to help both breeders, vets, and research scientists alike.
This position is located in the Madison, WI area, which is rated as one of the top area to live in the country. The company's home office is located in Germany with 10 subsidiaries worldwide. We have a global impact on animal and human reproduction.
Outside Sales Associate is responsible for the following areas:
• Initiate sales process by scheduling appointments, making initial presentation, and understanding each accounts requirement.
• Close sales by building rapport with potential accounts by explaining products and service capabilities, overcoming objections, and preparing contracts.
• Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services and developing new applications.
• Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts.
• Recommend new product and service options by evaluating current product results and identifying results needed.
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other events in the US and periodically in other countries.
• Monitor the development of sales, prepare reports, and evaluate the introduction of new products to the product line.
Full time position: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8:00 to 4:30, Weekend hours as needed.
Travel: Up to 50% travel is possible. Fluctuates seasonally with breeding season. Expense reimbursement and company supplied vehicle as necessary for travel.
Qualified candidates have extensive experience working in Equine breeding farms as a breeding manager, assistant breeding manager, or vet tech for a reproduction specialized veterinarian. Masters in Reproduction Physiology or DVM will be looked at favorably.
No prior sales experience necessary
$60-80,000 per year Plus commission, company vehicle, travel expenses covered, international travel possible for educational opportunities
Required relocation to WI for initial period, possibility to relocate in time and work remote.
