Scouts BSA Summer Camp ~ we host up @300 youth ages 10-17 per week on our property. The Scouts come for 1-2 weeks, and we have 6 weeks of program. Our equestrian team will teach up to 12 Scouts, 2x per day as well as take out up to 2 trail rides per day. We have 11 horses on property.
The Equestrian Instructor is responsible for working with the Equestrian Director and team to ensure the overall well-being of horses in a variety of situations, such as boarding, training, and transport. Working with the Director, will clean stalls and pens, turn horses out to exercise and check bedding materials for pests. Responsibilities include the day-to-day operations of the summer camp program. For example, working with the Equestrian Director to help in the preparation of merit badge classes and trail rides.

Arrival to camp @6/25, finish at camp @8/17
Room and Board provided in addition to salary
Private to semi-private cabin with shared shower/restroom facilities.
