Job Description
We teach both english and western riding so the candidate needs to be proficient in both - this is a flatwork only barn with no jumping. As a horse riding instructor you would work with people of different ages, riding ability and experience, and teach them to ride horses both in a one-on-one and group setting. This position is part time with evening and weekend hours required, this is a very busy Academy program. The purpose is to promote excellence in the profession of horseback riding instruction, based on the principles of Safety, Knowledge, and Integrity, with the health, happiness, and well-being of students and horses being of primary. Job Requirements
The ideal candidate should be able to perform the following duties: Comfortable handling horses of all temperaments and training levels, able to lunge, saddle, bathe, and basic first aid/knowledge of common equine issues. Preference given to candidates with prior riding instructor experience.
