Job Description
Frost Valley YMCA’s Equestrian Team is looking for seasonal staff who want to share their passion for horses with children. Our multi-facility equestrian program has over 60 horses and provides instruction to riders of all skill levels. Our staff work as a team to, teach campers how to ride, provide exceptional care for our horses, as well as to lead various camp activities. We have a variety of different positions to offer willing and flexible employees.
Job Requirements
* 18 yrs +
* Experience working with youth and teen sin an outdoor setting or strong desire to gain such experience
* Experience working with horses (preferable teaching)
* Be physically fit and have the ability to lift 50lb and walk up to 10 miles a day on uneven ground
*Ability to be committed to being a positive role model for kids and fellow staff members
*Ability to work long hours, including evenings
*Possess excellent communication skills and be able to multi-task and handle pressure well
