About The Facility
A peaceful 65 acre farm, well maintained, with 35 stalls, covered ring, free horse exerciser, treadmill, TheraPlate, two equine solariums and 21 paddocks, Showcase Ltd is a successful show facility located outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Well known for outstanding horsemanship, importing top horses from Europe and producing competitive riders, Showcase Ltd is very well designed to keep horses relaxed and happy.
Job Description
This is a stay-at-home 6 day per week position. Duties are:
1) Graining horses AM & PM
2) Helping hay and water in mornings
3) Following (and occasionally helping) a strict turnout schedule which includes grooming horses as they come inside from paddocks
4) Management of all vet and farrier appointments
5) Keeping track of all tack & equipment
6) Adhering to set schedules by working horses on treadmill and free horse exerciser
7) Teaching hunter jumper lessons whenever necessary

NO MUCKING, no grounds maintenance.
Ability to properly flat a horse is a bonus, RIDING IS NOT REQUIRED.
Job Requirements
Candidate must have several years of experience teaching and working with horses in a professional situation. One must be able to administer injections (IV & IM), manage farrier and vet appointments, live on the farm and occasionally be in sole charge of 10-12 horses. Riding is NOT required but TEACHING EXPERIENCE is MANDATORY.
Seeking candidates interested in a long term position.
MUST have VERIFIABLE REFERENCES and be able to start work by May 20th.
