About The Facility
Stable View is a top-notch equestrian facility situated on 1,000 acres in Aiken, SC and hosts dressage, eventing, and hunter jumper events year-round.
Job Description
• Downloading entries into either Fox Village Software or Event Entries software
• Processing entries to check for USEF,USDF, USEA, etc. memberships and contact riders if anything is missing
• Receiving payment into show software and entering invoices and payment into Quickbooks
• Keep a clean record of entry info, payment, etc.
• Schedule ride times in a manner that complies with industry standards for multiple rides, multiple horses, judges’ breaks, division rules, etc.
• Checking riders in and receiving paperwork
• Interacting with and answering random questions from officials, riders, trainers, volunteers, etc.
• Using online show software, reporting results, etc. and emailing riders
• Upload stall charts, ride times, announcements, results, etc. to the Stable View website
• Multitasking during events – entering scores, answering the phone, handing out prizes, responding on the radios, talking to competitors at the window, receiving payments, etc.
• Working long hours on show weekends – for checking in riders, opening the show office early, and staying after for awards pickup, etc.
• Ability to assist with other office tasks and show responsibilities
Job Requirements
• Extremely organized and able to multitask!
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to understand equestrian terminology while interacting with riders at shows
• Knowledge of either dressage or eventing, or both
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with officials, riders, trainers, volunteers, etc.
• Computer literacy for using online show software
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Familiarity with Microsoft and Adobe programs
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Flexible work hours, weekends REQUIRED
