Large farm in northwest Ocala, Florida is looking for an individual to join our farm family. This is a position for someone who is an active learner and worker. We are looking for someone who will consistently and energetically strive to improve and be a valuable part of our Team. The person needs to be passionate in their willingness to work either alone or in a group atmosphere and have the utmost care for the animals, equipment and facilities.
This Full-Time position involves all aspects of horse care and farm operations. The horses include a few riding horses, retired thoroughbreds, ponies and donkeys.
Aside from the horse duties, some of the farm duties include but not limited to is mowing with a zero turn mower or batwing, weed eating, dragging fields, general maintenance projects, and assisting with checking on cattle as needed.
