About The Facility
Private 20-acre hunter breeding facility focused on breeding and raising Oldenburg’s with supreme lineages. This breeding facility has one 8-stall barn and one 10-stall barn currently on site, but a 4-stall foaling barn and a 20+ stall barn is in the process of being built in the near future.
Job Description
Work Schedule 6 days per week, 7am to 5pm

Daily tasks include cleaning and rebedding stalls, feed horses 3x/day, keep tack room, aisle way and barn bathrooms clean and tidy, administer oral, topical, IV and IM medications, change bandages, tacking/untacking horses, grooming, bathing, blanketing, managing the paddocks (dragging, picking, etc.), order all feed, supplement and barn supplies as needed, handle horses for vet/farrier/trainer, horse-related laundry, turn all horses in/out daily on their provided schedule, drag the arena as needed, notify owner of any changes/concerns/etc., find any missing shoes in the pasture/stall, handle/desensitize foals, lunge horses/ground work, maintain farm equipment when needed, mow lawn 1x/week, drag arena as needed, load/unload horses on trailer, drive a truck and trailer, perform general house/barn repair/maintenance (anything that doesn’t require a license to fix).
Job Requirements
• Extensive experience handling foals, young horses and stallions
• Fluent in English
• Clean driving record
• Clean background check
• Non-smoking
