Job Description
Looking for a change? Plug and Play, are you a self-starter, to you have experience and enjoy working with children & adults. Experience schooling, showing, and winning in USEF circuit. Job Requirements
Applicants must have 10 years of horse experience, training with a solid working knowledge of hunt seat equitation and jumping. Excellent riding skills show competition/show planning, enrollment, and organizing. You must have a positive personality with a love of teaching children (12 & 13) & adults and working through behavioral issues of both horse and rider and preparing riders for competitions and shows. Must have a strong desire to stay with us long term & become a fixture at the barn. We are not looking for someone that likes to move around. A driver’s license, experience handling a horse trailer, and a good driving record are also needed.
Please do not apply if you do not have prior experience in the hunter/jumper/equitation world, and do not have experience teaching up to 3' minimum.
You will be expected to: Must be able to pass a background check. Be punctual. Clean up after your students (or make sure THEY clean up) and their horses. Make sure all tack is put away and is in good working order. Maintain a professional, happy, and clean environment. Keep the clean facility daily. Administer supplements, dewormers feeding and turnout, keeping the common areas and offices neat, clean, and swept. Dress appropriately.
