About The Facility
We have 30 horses in our program. Riders primarily show in Jumpers, Hunters and Equitation. Our clients are amazing, our team is outstanding, and together we have a lot of fun! We operate out of an incredible, beautiful, best in class, and exceptionally maintained facility just north of Chicago. We have very low turnover, most of our staff has been here for many years, and definite opportunity to stay long term.
Job Description
Always Faithful Stables is seeking an Assistant Tainer/Barn Manager. We are looking for a person with strong people skills who likes teaching children and adults.
Job Requirements
Applicants should be able to ride lesson ponies and horses effectively, jump a three foot course. Other duties include assisting with the care and management of approximately 30 horses, and overseeing and assisting the barn staff with basic chores. Typical chores include mucking, feeding, turnout, grooming, lunging, clipping, etc. Must be able to provide minor vet care, and recognize signs of illness or distress. Applicants should be comfortable in a fast paced environment, hardworking, punctual and positive.
Opportunities to travel to shows. We go to all the top shows in the US and spend winters competing at WEF.
