Becker Stables is nationally recognized Arabian show horse training and breeding facility in the Sierra foothills of northern California, run by owners and trainers Brett and Marjie Becker. The farm is about 200 acres with 80 stalls. We keep over 100 total and 60-70 training horses at all times, focusing primarily on western, hunter and English pleasure horses. We exhibit at about 12 shows per year, including US, Youth and Canadian Nationals. We have 10-20 foals per year, stand several breeding stallions and ship semen across North America.
Work in all areas of the farm, including grooming and care of show horses and breeding stock. Assist with keeping farm schedules, ordering, organizing equipment, overseeing animal health and following up on duties completed by other employees. New employees will start as management trainee until familiar and proficient with the specifics of existing farm policies, employees and tasks.
Applicant must have experience working on a horse farm of sufficient size. Drivers license required.
