About The Facility
Our farm has been in operation since 1972. We are a full service boarding facility. We offer lessons in both English and Western disciplines all year round. We offer after-school programs, summer camp, lesson packages and offer sales and horse leasing. We have 3 outdoor rings and an indoor arena.Our farm is located on over 100 acres of pastures, woods and trails with a beautiful stream running through the property.
Job Description
We are looking for an instructor /trainer to join our farm. This job has tons of opportunity for the right person. You would be giving lessons and attending horse shows locally and regionally, coaching your students. This full time position will also be maintaining school horses and the training of green/young horses
Job Requirements
Must have previous experience in teaching and training
Knowledge to train green horses under saddle and on lunge line
Able to instruct Beginners through advanced levels of skill in both English and Western styles
Able to keep lesson horses fit and schooled
Able to communicate with clients
Possess organizational skills with regards to scheduling lessons, shows and other programs
Maintain a professional, happy and clean environment.
Maintain the facility on a daily basis. Administer supplements, de wormers feeding and turnout
Must be cheerful, enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable.
Enjoys working with children and adults
Must be motivated and ambitious
Commissions in addition to agreed upon salary.
Description of Housing Provided
This is a live-in position with a private apartment with all utilities paid.
