About The Facility
Trinity River Farm & Equestrian Center is an established English equestrian center teaching hunter/jumper, eventing and equitation within the Fort Worth metroplex. We have an established clientele and a large waiting list for services. Active show riders attending local shows and schooling events. Community activities including Girl Scouts, birthday parties and on-site shows. IEA program in the future and therapeutic riding for high functioning challenged riders. Sale prep horses.
Job Description
Riding instructor position for beginner riders through advanced competing at local shows up to 3' jumping. Attend shows with students. Assist in planning on-site activities including shows, clinics, and other events. Assist with barn management activities including meeting with vet and farrier, coordinating livestock feeders, tracking lesson students and payments. Sales and marketing.
Job Requirements
High school graduate with 1-2 years college courses in equine science desirable. Minimum 2 years teaching experience. Jumping up to 3'. Able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally, valid driver's license. Ability to drive truck and horse trailer. US citizen or legal work documentation. CHS other other certification desirable but not required. Knowledge of basic horse medical care, bandaging and wound care. Human basic first aid. Experience with teaching children through adults. Horse sales experience.
