About The Facility
Becker Stables is a breeding and training facility for Arabian performance show horses. We raise about 20 foals per year and keep over 150 horses on the farm year-round. We stand numerous stallions and ship semen across North America.
Job Description
Oversee care of all mares and foals. Assist mares when foaling. Hold mares for veterinary work and work closely with reproduction veterinarian. Administer medications. Assist with teasing of mares and collection/packaging of semen. Transport horses for off-site veterinary care as necessary. Additional horse care duties outside of breeding season. This position will work an average of 6 days per week. Salary will range depending on experience an qualifications.
Job Requirements
Sufficient horse experience to adequately handle the animals. Willingness to work hard and pay attention to detail. Drivers license. Preferred but not required: experience with foaling, teasing and administering medications; some knowledge or education in horse breeding/veterinary care.

Description of Housing Provided
